In My Dreams

Well, that little break from blogging lasted slightly longer than I intended.  I had originally planned on a few weeks off whilst preparing for my son to fly the nest to university.  As you can imagine, my mind was in a mess and my card making was less than regular.  Funnily enough, once he'd gone I coped better than I imagined. I knew he was happy and coping so I was happy and coping. However, I had gotten out of the blogging habit.  I still followed all my usual blogs (sorry I wasn't commenting folks, I was following you on the Tab and it wouldn't let me).

What has finally got me back on the computer you ask? (Well, in my mind you asked).  This week's Less is More Challenge, that's what.  Quite an odd one for me to become obsessed with I have to admit.  One layer cards are my absolute nemesis.  I avoid them like the plague but when I saw the subject of 'Opposites attract' I got an image in my head that stuck with me all week.  So here I am posting my card for the Challenge.  I hope you like it.

I still think it is way to plain for one of my cards but I needed to try it so I could forget it.  The image is from 2 Cute Ink and you can find it here.  I seem to be using Heidi's images a lot lately and have even signed up for her club.  You have no idea how much this is me in the gym.

Anyway, I'm hopefully back now and will be entering a few more challenges when I can.

Thanks for Reading

Love Dawn x

  1. I'm fairly sure this is *me* in the gym, Dawn! Too funny and such a cute card <3 Great idea for "opposites" for our challenge. Glad to hear your son is settling in well at uni. It's such a big change for all of you, but hopefully he's having lots of fun and you'll get to enjoy more crafty time (until he returns for holidays with all his clothes washing, that is!) Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

  2. I'm so pleased that you chose Less is More for your comeback and I think this is a fabulous one layer card. Great interpretation of our opposites challenge and it's not too plain, I think you do CAS well.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
