A cup of Christmas Cheer

Hello all. Our monthly Christmas challenge is up at Sparkles Christmas and we have the fun theme of 'A cup of Christmas Tea.  I only had one idea for this one.  It had to be this cute little image from Mo's Digital Pencil

Adorable or what.  I'm more of an Earl Grey girl than peppermint tea but he's obviously very cosy.

Please pop over and join in the fun.

Thanks for reading.

Have a very Musical Christmas

Morning all.  I'm an hour late with my post.  Detention for me then.  I just looked at the date on the computer and panicked. Over at Sparkles Christmas Challenge we want to see 'Christmas Music' on your projects please.  When I saw the subject I instantly thought of the perfect image. 'singing so beautifully' from Mo's Digital Pencil seemed just perfect to me.

I coloured it over a couple of days so it didn't cause me too much pain.  And, yes, I have used those same Christmas papers again (pop in tomorrow when I ring the changes a bit).

Please pop over and join in the fun.

Thanks for reading.

Where there's a Will there's a way.

Morning all.  We have a brand new challenge for you today over at Make My Monday. We would like to see your 'Masculine' cards please.

Where to start?  I am still on a stash busting mission so I had a look through the digistamps I had printed out.  I bought a stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil such a long time ago.  I think it may have been retired but Mo has some brilliant male images if you need some inspiration.  I bought this one on a whim and I've never been sure what to use it for.  I really had to have it as it's called 'Will'.

Just look at him.  Such a stroppy little fella.  I have a Will of my own.  Thankfully, he's not often stroppy but that's the reason I had to have this little Will. Once I'd coloured him in and cut him out I added him to a stencilled background.  I'd already printed the sentiment from my computer.  I matted him on some backing paper and added to a card base.  I had to have a bit of bling 'cause I can't help myself.

Just in case you were wondering - here's my own Will.

Don't tell him I added his picture or I will get into trouble.  Luckily, he doesn't read my blog.

Ok, over to you.  Time to see your masculine cards.

Thanks for reading.

Happy 10th Anniversary to The Alphabet Challenge

Morning all.  Today is the 10th Anniversary of The Alphabet Challenge. We are starting again at the letter A and, although we have chosen an 'anything goes' theme, I thought it would be appropriate to create an Anniversary card.  To be fair, I've been itching for an opportunity to use a Mo's Digital Pencil image since I first saw it.  It was one of those images that I just needed when I spotted it.  Didn't have anything specific in mind but really just had to have the image.

I found some hearts and flowers papers and just layered everything up.  I'm really pleased with how it came out.  Looking at it I think it may be perfect for mum and dad on their anniversary.

Please pop over and join in the anniversary fun.  We do love to see your projects.

Thanks for reading and stay safe.

Happy Birthday to...Me! Well, nearly

Morning all.  I hope you have managed to finish all those last minute Christmas cards before the big day on Wednesday. I'm still colouring a few images as I'm not fed up yet.  The hope is to get a head start for next year.  Well, I can but dream.  In the meantime, we can go back to all the normal card making duties.  Today's challenge at Make My Monday is to make a Female Birthday Card.  I've chosen this subject as I know how difficult it is to get birthday cards once the Christmas madness starts.  I also know what it's like to have a birthday around Christmas time.  Apparently, I should have been born in January but, probably for the only time in my life, I was early.  You try organising a birthday celebration for the night before New Years Eve.  Everyone is either partied out or going out the next night.  Good job I'm not much of a party girl!

Anyway, I've made a card to give me a gentle reminder that Christmas is now over and I need to get back into the swing of things.

Yep,  back to Slimming World next week.  Not that I ever left but this last ten pound is proving difficult to shift.  I've used this brilliant image by Mo's Digital Pencil called 'Hoping'.  Just recently I don't even think I've bothered hoping. Never mind.  It will come off eventually.

Let's see those girly images coming out ladies and gents.  I want to see what you've got to inspire me for the females in your life.

Please pop over and see what the DT have for you.  Their cards are always so inspirational.

Be Joyful

Morning all.  The Alphabet Challenge has a fun new challenge for you today.  The subject is J for Joy.

I'm loving this one as it gives me a chance to use a stamp I bought 'just because'.  Have you ever just seen something that made you smile you just had to have it?  This is what happened to me when I saw Mo Manning's image Joy.  It made me smile so much.  You can see the Joy in the image.  And this was the Challenge that it had been waiting for.

I've kept the card very simple because I think the image says it all.

Please pop over and join in the fun.  I think we could all use a little Joy sometimes.

Is your Beach Body Ready?

Morning all.  Time for some 'Summer Fun' over at Cardz4galz.  Any Summer Fun would do but, as I've been dieting since 2 weeks before Christmas, I thought I'd show off my Beach Body to you.
Here it is, what do you think?

And that's as close as you are going to get to me in a bikini.  Yes, I have lost 3 stone.  Yes, I am a shadow of my former self. No, I still don't own a bikini and I have no plans to buy one.  Believe me, the world will never be ready for that.

The image is one of my absolute favourites from Mo's Digital Pencil and she's such fun to colour.  I love her curves.  Believe it or not, the sandy coloured backing paper is a Christmas one.  I've hidden the snowfake under her bum.

Why not pop over and join in with your summer fun designs.

Thanks for reading.
