Morning all. Time for a new challenge over at Cardz4guyz. The challenge is to use a 'wild animal'. I have to admit to being a bit stumped by this one. Funny isn't it, the scope for this challenge is enormous but I couldn't settle on anything. I started to colour a cute little squirrel (well, they aren't domesticated are they). But when I looked at the image it wasn't saying Wild Animal. Mildly irate maybe but definitely not what I would think of as a Wild Animal. Anyway, at the eleventh hour, I chose to go with something more traditionally wild, although he's also on the cute side. I've recently discovered Lee Holland Art on Etsy and I fell for this cute Tiger. I stencilled a tiger stripe background and added the image . What do you think?
Adorable or what?
Please pop over and join in the fun. I love visiting all the blogs and seeing what everyone else comes up with.
Thanks for reading.
Love Dawn x
A super card Dawn, not sure he looks very wild - I'm sure he will when he grows up though!

Adorable tiger and smashing sentiment, love the background too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little tiger and the background paper adds to the "wildness" of this card :)
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, Dawn! Sweetest little tiger EVER, and that background is BEYOND FABULOUS! I especially like that you used the tiger brown and yellow just like it is in real life! BTW, thanks for the chuckle with the comments you left on my blog today. I can only imagine how much fun it is living and working with you! hugs, de
