Morning all. Over at The Alphabet Challenge we are at the letter D and it's my choice for a theme. I decided to go for 'D for Dancing'. I must have been watching 'Strictly' when I decided on this one as I haven't got a clue what was going on in my head otherwise. I did, however, have the perfect image from the Papershelter for my card.

Tiny Dancer
I do feel like I cheated a little bit by using the pre-coloured image. I have used the digital stamp before but it daunts me a little bit to colour this one. I created a Z fold card and used the backing design that comes with it along with a scrap of pretty paper I had using the same colours.

Gift Card Holder
Morning all. We have a handy new challenge for you over at Make My Monday if, like me, you need to give a gift card this Christmas. We want 'Gift Card Holders' please. Now my nephew is of that age where toys are to childish but he does like to play video games. I usually get him a token so he can play online. With that in mind I chose a fun image for my holder.
The image is part of a larger digistamp from The Paper Shelter called Santa's Family Selfie. I just enlarged it and used the part with Rudolph on. I think Charlie will find it amusing. I know I do.

Just for fun
Now here's an oddity. Me joining in a challenge for fun rather than it being a design team project. I follow loads of challenge blogs and I sometimes even make a card to fit. I don't always get chance to do the blog post bit though. To be fair Sparkles Christmas Challenge is a monthly challenge so you do get plenty of time. I just forget. Anyway, it popped up on my Bloglovin feed this morning so I decided to dive straight in. They want to see ribbon, lace or twine. I have to admit to having a bit of a ribbon problem. The problem being that I've so much it gets knotted up in the box I keep it in. Anyway, rather than fight the big knot monster, I found some ancient sticky ribbon on a sheet.
I embossed a piece of white card with some snowflakes and used the ribbon and some gold border peel offs to created stripes in the other corner. I matted that onto some green card and stuck a green panel in the middle. I'd already coloured this sweet image from The Paper Shelter and it had been sitting in a box waiting to be used. Anyway, now I've finished it I'm off to tidy my ribbon box - she lied!

Love to Dance
If you love to dance then maybe this is the challenge for you. Dance is the theme for this fortnight over at Make My Monday. I do love to dance when I get the opportunity but I'm much better at it after several G & Ts, lol. When I was little I did go to a couple of ballroom classes but the only thing I remember is the waltz. Oh, and of course we all loved the country dancing sessions in PE at school. (I do hope the sarcasm translated in that last sentence).
Anyway, onto my card.
I've had this image from The Paper Shelter for a while. I think she's very '80s - which, coincidentally, is when I was in my prime.
Not sure the old joints would stand much of a Knees up nowadays. Oh, my gosh, listen to me! I'm only 52!
Anyway, please pop over and join in the fun.
